Aikido of Westchester in Hartsdale, New York, established in 1997, is led by Shihan Douglas Firestone and his wife Sylvie, who are highly respected master-level instructors. The dojo provides comprehensive training in both Aikido and Japanese swordsmanship (Battojutsu), creating an inclusive environment that welcomes students of all ages and skill levels. The school maintains a perfect balance between serious martial arts training and maintaining a positive, enjoyable atmosphere.
